Police Officer

The Town of Fletcher Police Department seeks a police officer candidate who is a leader with high ethical standards and unquestionable integrity. Work includes patrolling the Town during an assigned shift in a police car, bicycle, or on foot; preventing, detecting and investigating disturbances and crime; performing traffic control work; apprehending suspects; and executing related assignments. Employees must exercise judgment, initiative and calm control when performing duties. Work involves frequent public contact which requires tact, firmness and decisiveness.
BLET certification through North Carolina Criminal Justice Training & Standards is required with application.
Starting hourly hiring rate: $22.23

Part-Time/Seasonal:
P/T Park Attendant
If you enjoy working outside and meeting new people, this may be the job for you! Fletcher Parks & Recreation Department is currently taking applications for a P/T Park Attendant. Work days are weekends consisting of Saturday & Sunday (16 hours per week). Duties include greeting and dealing with the public concerning information about park operations and rules and is responsible for light maintenance tasks.
Starting hourly hiring rate: $17.00 hr.
