Historic Resources Commission

The historical heritage of Henderson County and its municipalities is a valuable and important asset. By endeavoring to preserve historic districts and landmarks, Henderson County seeks: (1) to safeguard the heritage of the County and its municipalities by preserving districts and landmarks therein which embody important elements of its culture, history, architectural history, or prehistory; and (2) to promote the use and conservation of such districts and landmarks for the education, pleasure, and enrichment of the residents of the County and beyond.

The Town of Fletcher will appoint an individual to represent Fletcher on this commission, final appointment will be given by the Henderson County Board of Commissioners.

Parks and Recreation Advisory Board

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board are looking for someone who wants to make Fletcher a great place to play & live. If you are a Fletcher Resident and are interested in serving on this board you will need to fill out an application available at Town Hall or online. For more information about this board and their role please call Greg at 687-0751.
