Rod Whiteside was elected mayor in November 2017.  He previously served on the Fletcher Parks & Rec. Advisory Board.  He is a graduate of Brevard High School (’91) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (’95).  He is employed by the Ingles Corporate office and is the father of Taylor and Carter.
