Medication Drop-off

Stop by the Police lobby Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM to drop off unwanted medication.

Acceptable Items:

  • Old medication
  • Prescription pills
  • Capsules
  • Ointments
  • Vitamins
  • Patches
  • Inhalers
  • Liquids and powders in their original containers

Syringes, needles, and chemotherapy medication cannot be accepted.

 

Evidence and Safekeeping Property

To pick up your property, schedule an appointment with the department by calling 828-697-4911.

An appointment must be made to retrieve your items as access to property is limited to the departments Evidence Custodian.

 

Fingerprinting or Background Check

We do not provide fingerprinting at this Police Department.
