Planning/ZBA Board Opening (District 3)

The Town of Fletcher is accepting applications to fill a District 3 seat on its joint Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA). Members serve in dual roles on a single board.

Applicants must reside in Voting District 3 (district map).

 Board Responsibilities Include:

  • Making recommendations to Town Council on standard rezonings, conditional rezonings, special use permits, and text amendments to the Land Development Code
  • Reviewing preliminary plats for major subdivisions
  • Conducting design review for projects within the Heart of Fletcher Overlay
  • Holding quasi-judicial hearings for variances and zoning appeals

The Board typically meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Applicants must be available to attend the April 6, 2026, Council Agenda Review Meeting to introduce themselves and answer questions. Council will make the appointment at its April 13th, 2026, regular meeting.
