Fletcher ABC Board Vacancy

The Town of Fletcher is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Fletcher Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board.

The Fletcher ABC Board is responsible for the operation of the Fletcher ABC Store, including overseeing its management and hiring store employees. The ABC Board operates independently from the Town’s other appointed boards and commissions, managing its own affairs and maintaining a separate annual audit.

Applicants must:

• Be a resident of the Town of Fletcher.
• Be willing to serve the remainder of an unexpired term of approximately three years.

Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, September 2.

Completed applications may be:

• Emailed to Town Clerk Christine Thompson at c.thompson@fletchernc.org, or
• Delivered in person to Fletcher Town Hall.

As part of the appointment process, applicants may be asked to attend the September 8 Town Council meeting for an interview or introduction. The Town Council anticipates making the appointment at its September 14 Town Council meeting.
