Fletcher Fire & Rescue provides fire protection services through a municipal fire district for the Town of Fletcher. This service is provided at a class 3 level for insurance purposes. Fletcher Fire & Rescue also conducts the fire inspections throughout the Town.

Mills River Fire & Rescue provides supplementary fire protection services for two parcels of land on the west side of Town. This was established through a prior annexation of these properties into the Town limits.
