The Town of Fletcher provides curbside recycling to all Town residents. This is a contracted service with Curbside Management of Asheville. This recycling program provides our residents the easiest and most efficient way to recycle.
The Town provides each household their first blue and green recycling bins at no charge. Additional bins are available at Town Hall for 7.00 for the green bin (plastics) and 10.00 for the blue bin (paper). Please DO NOT USE BAGS FOR EXTRA RECYCLING. We ask that you prepare your recyclables following the guidelines outlined below, place plastic, glass, metal, in the green bin and place mixed paper and newspaper in the blue bin. Please flatten all cardboard and place under bins. Bins should be out at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on pickup day. This is a very easy program and can deliver great benefits if we all participate.
